About Us

Southern Revival was created and named with an idea of returning to and maintaining the family traditions and charm of the Old South; the wildness; the bounty; the simplicity; the adventure and the attachment to the land. Add to this the personal revival to the things that are most important: God, family, community, and the values that have given the South its warm character - In both the South's grandness and joy of its little things.

Southern Revival strives to make our handcrafted leather products of the highest quality with natural, dependable, and beautiful materials.

Southern Revival is led by Tim who recently retired as a Master Sergeant in the US Army's Special Forces "Green Beret" who is also a self-taught traditional cabinet maker. After 20 years of active duty service, he had planned to go back to making wooden furniture, but that idea was disrupted after one small leather project.

Tim has relocated his family back to his wife's home here in Lowndes County, GA where the Southern Revival Company was born

Our leather hides are sourced from a multitude of established tanneries world wide. Any natural defects are treated as accents where appropriate and all waste is minimized. All of our hardware for our handcrafted leather goods and supplies we use are sourced from US manufactures whenever possible.
